The CSF Heat Exchanger brings modern cooling technology to improve upon the original early-2000s design used in the Ford GT. This upgrade is especially beneficial for owners running larger aftermarket superchargers, such as the Whipple, where additional intercooler cooling capacity is critical for maintaining consistent performance.
The CSF intercooler heat exchanger features a 1-row, 31 mm all-aluminum core utilizing CSF’s exclusive B-Tube Technology, which improves heat transfer by approximately 15% compared to traditional OE oval welded tubes. In addition, the design incorporates 32% more cooling tubes and fins, significantly increasing cooling efficiency.
Together, these improvements allow the CSF heat exchanger to substantially outperform the factory unit, helping maintain lower intake air temperatures and more consistent power under demanding driving conditions.
