With increased power comes higher levels of heat generated by the engine system, which is why an upgraded intercooler is especially important in a turbo application. Considering the intercooler system's placement on top of the engine, the CSF 992 Turbo/S Intercooler System is a must-have bolt-on modification.
At the heart of the system are Formula-1 grade intercooler cores, spec'd by CSF and custom built by PWR with two rows of rolled cooling tubes and inner fins. They eliminate heat soak and lower IATs much more efficiently than traditional Bar & Plate or Tube & Fin designs, on a platform tuned to well over 1,000WHP.
The 100% TIG-welded all billet aluminum construction replaces the OEM crimped-on plastic tank design, a difference that is not only aesthetically pleasing but also offers improved longevity and durability under demanding driving conditions and increased power levels.
