Designed around the Chassis
Whipple's W275ax HPR supercharger gives your Ford GT a serious step up in power. This 4.5 liter twin screw unit is nearly twice the size of the factory 2.3 liter Lysholm blower and is engineered specifically for the higher boost levels the GT's 5.4L engine thrives on. Capable of running from 19 psi up to nearly 30 psi depending on pulley choice and engine modifications, the system delivers 250HP or more with instant boost and strong torque at any RPM. Efficiency reaches up to 95%, and the massive air to water aluminum bar and plate intercooler drops charge temperatures by more than 40 degrees F compared to stock, allowing more spark advance, reduced parasitic loss, and more power per pound of boost than anything else on the market.
Designed as a direct bolt on replacement, the kit requires no internal modifications and includes the kit specific 3250cfm Elliptical Throttle Body, an adjustable idler pulley for added belt wrap, and all hardware needed for installation. Boost changes are simple, since the supercharger pulley can be swapped in minutes by loosening just four bolts, with no need to remove the head unit as the factory setup demands. Supplied as a tuner system, it gives your tuner full flexibility over boost levels and calibration. Please note that fuel system and engine management components are not included, and the factory rubber air inlet should be supported with Whipple's plastic insert for any boost level above 15 psi. Each unit arrives with a high shine polished finish, with custom colors available on request.
