Designed around the Chassis
The Boden Autohaus Titanium Catback Exhaust System for the Ferrari 296 is designed to unleash the full character of Ferrari's turbocharged V6 hybrid powertrain, giving this new-generation supercar the bold, distinctive voice its engine deserves. Built to integrate seamlessly with the 296's 3.0L twin-turbo V6, this system opens up the exhaust path to deliver a richer, more aggressive tone with greater presence at every part of the rev range, complementing rather than masking the engine's unique high-frequency character. A refined flow architecture reduces backpressure from the catalytic converters rearward, increasing exhaust gas velocity and improving turbo spool, throttle response, and power delivery without disrupting the precise calibration between the combustion engine and the car's hybrid system.
Constructed from ultra-lightweight, A1-grade titanium, the Boden Autohaus catback system trims meaningful weight from the factory exhaust, reducing mass at the rear of the chassis to support the 296's already exceptional agility and balance. Titanium's superior heat resistance and corrosion protection allow the system to handle the sustained thermal loads produced by the V6's high boost pressures, ensuring consistent performance and durability whether on track or on the road. Each system is precision-engineered to OEM specifications for a seamless fit at factory mounting points, maintaining full compatibility with the 296's exhaust, sensor, and electronic control systems — the result of careful development and testing that delivers reliable gains and a sound worthy of the 296 nameplate.
